Local Bands Aren't That Bad.
2008/12/24
I'm proud to say that I've contributed to the collection of WhiteBalls (with well wishing written on them) along Esplanade :) Met up with Grace and we had lunch at Carls Jr. and we caught
Yes Man. It was hilarious. Everyone in the cinema was er quite enthusiastic. Haha. Though I felt that Jim Carrey's a little too old to be with Zooey Deschanel. But whatever cause his expressions are so classic. We talked and walked aimlessly (Something I realise I'm getting quite good at, without getting lost) and landed at Marina Square and then Esplanade. We went to the riverside and managed to catch
Supernova playing at the outdoors theatre. They are really good. But the crowd sucked. Everyone was dead, no one responded when the lead singer tried to interact with the crowd and the applause was really sad. Then we saw this booth and we managed to get one of those huge white balls you see floating on the SingaporeRiver (looks like pollution).

Bands we heard were awesome.

Patriot at work, yo. (Actually I'm just doodling)

Haha Grace is really proud of her teachers :D
So we sat, drew and watched bands perform. We managed to catch Axecalibur which were
REALLY good. They are a little on the hardcore side but if you love rock you'll loove them. The guitar solo is wicked. His fingers were flying up and down the fretboard faster than you can say the word
Fast.

Axecalibur. (Picture quality sucks cause I'm using my phone's camera which is nonsense)
The annoying thing was they kept drinking water on stage. I know they're not professional and all but you surely can survive not drinking water for like 45 minutes right? But anyway, they sang a Mr. Big song which was really really really really great. I honestly prefer their version of the song compared to the original one.
MICHELLE! I'M
SO SORRY :/
